The Balboa Island Museum and Historical Society is a wonderful way to learn about the history Balboa Island. The museum is offering a series of different 10-minute videos on History Talks with Celeste, which you can view from home.  The museum is currently open Monday through Thursday from 10am to 5pm and Friday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm. Admission is free, donations are accepted. At the museum, they offer a kid’s scavenger hunt, Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs and school programs.
