Roger’s Gardens is celebrating Hummingbird Summer now through August 29th. Roger’s Gardens has a host of ways to welcome hummingbirds into your garden, with plants attractive to hummingbirds, feeders and nectar. Their website has everything you need to learn more about these little creatures and create an environment for them. Roger’s Gardens is partnering with Sea and Sage Audubon Society, as well. Finally, on Saturday, August 14, instructor Steve Kay will lead a class on how to photograph hummingbirds, including tips and tricks to photograph them in motion. He will show more than 120 photos of his work. The cost is $10 per person, of which $5 will be donated to Sea and Sage Audubon Society.
