Mai Kai Condos are located in Corona del Mar area of Newport Beach. The Mai Kai Condos were built in the early to mid-1960’s by the Irvine Company. They are situated on “Yacht Club Row” between Newport Bay and Bayside Drive, beyond Bayside Drive is the Pacific Ocean. Therefore there are both bay and ocean view condos. These condos have some of the best views in Corona del Mar including; the Pacific Ocean, Newport Bay, Balboa Island, white water, breathtaking sunsets, and city night lights. These views will never be impeded because Corona del Mar has strict height restrictions on any building. These condos rarely come up for sale on the Corona del Mar real estate market. Since, being built in the 1960’s many condos have been remodeled and updated. There is a mix of one, two and three bedroom condos in Mai Kai. The square footage ranges from 1,300 square feet to 3,000 square. The average selling price for a Mai Kai condo is two million dollars or above. There are many wonderful amenities at Mai Kai: pools, spas, gym and premium private parking. The homeowners’ association dues are approximately $625 per month. In addition to the many perks that the fees cover, they also cover use of the association insurance and building maintenance.
